Our office received the following notice from TTC:

TTC continues to complete critical work during scheduled subway closures. During the one day subway closure last Sunday, crews were able to install 4000 feet of fibre optic cables for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project. The old radio system was also transferred onto the new system for the ECLRT project. Work on Line 1’s Automatic Train Control signaling system continues.

Please see below for September’s scheduled subway closures on Line 1.

  • September 8 to 10 – Sheppard-Yonge to Eglinton (nightly early closures)

  • September 21 to 24 – Sheppard-Yonge to Eglinton (nightly early closures)
  • September 26 and 27 – Finch to Eglinton (weekend closure)

Any updates or changes to the schedule will be posted online: http://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp
