Revised: Waterloo Avenue, between Bryant St and Goddard St: Storm and Sanitary sewer system upgrade

Our office received a revised notice from city staff:

The City of Toronto is modifying and upgrading the storm and sanitary sewer system in your area in order to reduce surface and basement flooding.
Due to the depth and nature of the storm sewer construction work on Waterloo Avenue, the road will be closed between Bryant Street and Goddard Street, effective 7 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020.
Motorists are reminded to abide by traffic/construction signs posted in local areas to ensure the safe
travel of all local road users, pedestrians and cyclists. This project is part of the Council-approved
2020 Basement Flooding Protection Program to improve the water distribution system; renew our
aging infrastructure and reduce the risk of sewer collapse or blockages that cause sewer backups
and flooding.
