Implementation of Permit Parking on Maria Iacampo Gardens, Franco Basile Grove, John Perkins Bull Drive, and William Duncan Road

On December 3, 2024 North York Community Council approved the implementation of Permit Parking on Maria Iacampo Gardens, Franco Basile Grove, John Perkins Bull Drive, and William Duncan Road, within Area 18A with the operating hours of 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., 7 days a week. Permit parking signs will be posted in March. Once the sign installation is complete, vehicles not displaying a permit during the permit parking hours of operation will be subject to parking enforcement.

Should you wish to apply for a permit, please visit the Toronto City Hall Permit Parking Office at 100 Queen Street West. The hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday to Friday. To be eligible for a permit you must possess a valid driver’s licence and vehicle ownership. If the ownership is not in the applicant’s name, we may require a letter from the insurance company indicating that the applicant is insured to drive the vehicle. If the correct address is not reflected on the requested documents, proof of residency will be required, which may be in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement, or purchase agreement. You can also apply by mail by mailing a photocopy of your documents along with a cheque made payable to “Treasurer, City of Toronto”.

Parking permit fees are based on the availability of off-street parking on your property. If you have no access to off-street parking, you are charged the low rate. If you have access to off-street parking and choose not to use it, you are charged the higher rate. If you are a tenant and there is parking on the property, the permit parking office requires a letter from the property management company (on official letterhead) or a letter from the property owner, stating that as a tenant you do not have access to this parking. The fee schedule for all classifications of parking permits is detailed on the Residential On-Street Parking website at the following link: Residential On-Street Parking – City of Toronto

Depending on your rate, as described above, you may select one of the following fee options. Remember, permits are issued in terms (6 or 12 months). The terms are fixed from June 1 to November 30 and from December 1 to May 31. We pro-rate on a monthly basis.
