Notice: Temporary Road Closure Westgate Blvd. and Southgate Ave

Our office has received the following notice from City staff:
The City of Toronto is modifying and upgrading the storm and sanitary sewer system in your area in order to reduce surface and basement flooding. Due to the depth and nature of the sanitary sewer construction work on Westgate Boulevard, the road will be closed at the intersection of Southgate Avenue and Westgate Boulevard effective from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 1, 2023 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 15, 2023.

This project is part of the Council approved 2023 Basement Flooding Protection Program to improve the water distribution system; upgrade our infrastructure and protect homes and business from basement flooding.
