Our office received the following notice from City staff:
On January 27, 2023 The City’s contractor, Vipe Construction Ltd, will be working on the water services and/or watermains in your area, which will require the water supply to be shut-off properties on Chesswood Drive from 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM. The water will be shut-off during the time noted above to complete the work.
WHAT TO DO DURING AND AFTER WATER SHUT
Water Service Disruption: Please make sure that all taps are closed, or in the off position, to avoid any flooding when your water supply is turned back on.
When your water supply in turned back on before you start using water, we recommend that you:
• Remove the aerator (screen) from your taps.
• Turn on your laundry tub tap (or the tap located nearest to your property’s water meter/shut-off) and let the tap run for a minimum of 10 minutes.
• Turn on each cold water tap and let the water run for 5 minutes.
• Replace the aerator (screen) on your tap.
