Speaking About Passive Housing at Urban Economy Forum

On Tuesday, I had the honour of speaking at the Urban Economy Forum 2021 Steering Committee on the importance of passive housing.

A passive house consumes up to 90% less energy than a conventional one and increases the comfort of its residents. Because of its fully insulated structure: thermal leaks cease and dependence on heating and cooling units, which are major contributors to energy consumption and pollution, diminish.

Passive housing needs to be mentioned more often. Especially when it comes to climate change, it is crucial. It is easier to build, less expensive to build and can accommodate more residents.
