Spring Cleaning is Back! Get Involved!

Hey Toronto, it’s time for a little spring cleaning!

Registration for the City’s annual spring cleanup is now open. Gather with friends, neighbours and colleagues to help clean up our parks, beaches and other public spaces after a long, cold winter.

All participants – including community, corporate, school, and councillor-led groups – must register their cleanups. The City will arrange special litter collections on April 22, 23 and 24 for registered cleanups, subject to approval. Registration also prevents multiple groups from planning a cleanup in the same public space. Participants are encouraged to bring their own plastic bags to collect litter and recycling; the supply of free GLAD garbage and recycling bags will be limited this year. Free bags will not be available for pick up at City Hall, civic centres, community recreation centres and Pizza Pizza stores, as in previous years.

March 30 – Kick-off event at Nathan Phillips Square

You are invited to the City of Toronto’s annual campaign kick-off on Wednesday, March 30, on Nathan Phillips Square at 12:30 p.m.
