With Love, North York is a community-based art project spearheaded by North York Arts. The series portrays the works of Laura Yang, Melisa Sofi, Marg Cresswell, Bryan Taguba, Yasaman Mehrsa, and Serene Chan. The artworks have been created through a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint on bending plywood, on canvas, and digitally on vinyl. Each work of art has been created following community consultations and engagement, and are now being displayed in their respective community centres.

With Love, North York is a celebration of North York’s vibrant art scene. Each artist has made a contribution to the cultural fabric of our district. I encourage everyone to visit the different installations and experience the beauty that the North York artistic community has to offer” said Councillor James Pasternak (York Centre). “As Chair of North York Community Council and the local councillor for Ward 6, I will continue supporting investments in public art”.

The artwork is proudly displayed in the following locations (list is courtesy of North York Arts):

  • Ward 6 – Bryan Taguba – Roding Community Centre – 600 Roding St.
