TTC extends expiry date for Support Person Assistance Cards to 2022

Our office received the following notice from the Toronto Transit Commission:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and challenges with booking in-person appointments with health care professionals, the TTC is extending the expiry dates for its Support Person Assistance Cards. Cards that were set to expire from March to December 2020 and all cards in 2021 will now expire on the cardholder’s birthday in 2022.

Even though expiry dates have been extended, the TTC continues to process new Support Person Assistance Card applications for customers able to submit their applications and photos to the TTC. Customers unable to submit a new application may continue to use their current card until its expiry in 2022.

Eligible customers can submit their application in the following ways:

In person

Bring your completed and signed application to the TTC’s Photo Centre at Bathurst Station. You can have your photo taken and receive your new Support Person Assistance Card in minutes.

By mail

Send your completed and signed application along with two colour passport size photos to: TTC Support Person Assistance Card, 1900 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M4S 1Z2.

It may take up to six weeks to receive the new card.
