Our office has received the following notice from City staff:
The City of Toronto is modifying and upgrading the storm and sanitary sewer system in your area in order to reduce surface and basement flooding. Due to the depth and nature of the sanitary sewer construction work on Westgate Boulevard, the road will be closed at the end of the Westgate Boulevard cul-de-sac to Westgate Crescent effective from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 4th, 2023, to 7:00 p.m. on Monday July 31st, 2023.
This project is part of the Council approved 2023 Basement Flooding Protection Program to improve the water distribution system; renew our aging infrastructure and reduce the risk of sewer collapse or blockages that cause sewer backups and flooding.
